Managing Jet Lag and Travel Stress

Programme overview:

Traveling can be especially stressful. Tougher security procedures, longer waiting lines, fewer perks, more crowded airplanes and thinner travel budgets are some of the contributing factors to business traveller’s stress levels. In addition, many people who travel across time zones find themselves with a condition known as jet lag. Even though jet lag is a temporary condition, it causes such symptoms as fatigue, insomnia, irritability, forgetfulness, and poor appetite.

The great thing about travel stress is that it’s predictable. Unlike many other types of negative stress we encounter in life, we know most of the time when travel stress will begin and end, and we can make plans to reduce the amount of stress we experience and the negative impact it has on us. This workshop offers practical tips and suggestions on how to cope with travelling across multiple time zones and overcome travel anxiety.
